WEEZER - The Blue Album
FELL VOICES + ASH BORER live

If you missed out on the shows we did with Fell Voices and Ash Borer, you missed out on some great modern black metal, true to form. Fell Voices in particular is one of those bands poised to become legendary. Whether they retain an obscure, cult status or blow up like Asunder or Graves at Sea or someone of that ilk, this is a band that people will be raving about in years. For people with little regard or appreciation of the genre, their songs might seem a little long-winded, perhaps a little too "epic," if not outright boring in their bludgeoning dissonance. But for fans of "true" black metal, they have crafted songs that fit the genre to a t, while also imposing a new level of amazing creativity. I feel sorry for everyone who didn't come out last night to the New Orleans show as you may have blew your only chance to ever see this band live.

The Church - Starfish
Mission of Burma - Vs.
Gang of Four - Solid Gold
Discount - Love, Billy
The Cranberries - Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?

I didn't listen to much of anything over the weekend, really, but I did watch The Carter.

One time I made a Weezer/Phobia split cassette tape for myself and Kelly thought that was just wrong. It was pretty bad-ass, though.
