Framtid "Under the Ashes" LP
Framtid "8 Track EP" 7"
Fury "Resurrection" 7"

Ended up on a short tour of the F section. I was listening to the Framtid LP to confirm that it is, indeed one of the best records of the aughts, but then needed to confirm that their best song is Crucified which is on their EP. And that journey led me past the Fury EP which is one of the criminally overlooked EPs of the 1990's. Easy top ten material.

Finished season two of DEXTER and started in on season three. Shows like this really put fluff like TRUE BLOOD into perspective. The HUNG season finale was pretty good though.

Stopped in on the Maddie Ruthless record release show, but I had an impatient fireman waiting around the block and an amazing pre-fiance waiting back at home, so I bailed before seeing any music. Grabbed copies of the new 10" for the Iron Rail though. Should have a small update on that end in the next few days.

I'm always surprised to hear that a Showtime series is any good, because I unfairly judge them all against Queer as Folk, which had a good first season and then went bonkers bad. I might have to check out Dexter on Netflix instant. I still need to finish that English show Skins, though.

My wife likes True Blood, but those accents were so dopey I quit after two episodes.

Hung was good last night.

I'm looking forward to Boardwalk Empire on HBO. Hard to believe it will be anything but great.

Bryan, did Thou play with Ebsen and the Witch? If so, any good live? I listened to some of the myspace songs and I hope to get out and check them out.

All I listened to all weekend were the 20-something songs I put on Megan Accosta's birthday mix tape.

Skins is excellent, though a little exhausting. As for Showtime shows, aside from Dexter, I really love Californication. Definitely worth checking out, if you're looking for a new TV show to take up your free time.
