BLACK FLAG/demo 1982-ok,so this thing was recorded between damaged and my war.this record really documents the transition between those records.i just got this.it took a little while to find,but i recently saw this as a cd version on ebay,and at a good price too(imagine that).if you like black flag,find it and buy it. it may be because i just got this and have heard most of these songs a million times,but i swear these versions are really good,maybe better.its recorded live in a studio or practice or something,so it has a really raw sound.much rawer than post-damaged black flag.the sound quality is great.mr.rollins vocals are suprisingly good,and dez and ginn sound awesome together.this is also the last recording(that you can find)w/ chuck dukowski on bass,and the first and only apperance by chuck biscuits(danzig d.o.a. circle jerks.social d.)on drums.theres just so much energy,really wish this line up could have stucked together longer.a perferct blend of the two worlds of black flag.BOOT
