Yesterday's News - Number Four Hundred and Six.

The Shins - Port of Morrow
D Vassalotti - Book of Ghosts + False Xmas (have had this on repeat in my car for the last three days)
Duran Duran - Greatest Hits
The Smiths - Louder Than Bombs

Dead in the Dirt + Heartless + Full of Hell + Young and in the Way + Impressionable Youth - live
Liked all the bands, but I have to second Andy's motion to exclude all animal skulls, incense, tree branches, and other knick knacks from hardcore/punk/metal shows.

Missed those Dischord bands and Opposable Thumbs and then A Storm of Light Saturday. Was laid up all day. Anyone catch either of those shows?

Wild Flag - s/t
Nighty Night - tour EP
Brian Eno - Before And After Science
Off With Their Heads - All Things Move Toward Their End

Parade on Saturday afternoon, friends and cupcakes Saturday night, recorded Brave Companions vocals yesterday. Not sure if it'll get mixed any time soon though. Bah.

Black Tambourine
Cock Sparrer
Despise You
Poison Idea

Uptown parade on Saturday was pretty miserable. Just super hot and lots of drunk idiots. I don't know why I keep going to these things. Had fun once I got away from the crowds. Went to the Bywater parade that evening and had a great time. Missed Super Sunday like an idiot.
