UMBILICAL Our sixth full length record Umbilical is going to be released by Sacred Bones on May 31st. The record is currently streaming in the alpha demo version of the SILENUS video game, creating by Geography of Robots who did the NORCO game. You can get the game for free on steam.
MY... ART We missed an office memo or something and didn't realize that most of the bonus 7"s with the record wouldn't include artwork or, more importantly, lyrics. So here's a printable PDF of the art and lyrics. I'll probably include that file in the Umbilical ZIP once I add that to the website. And if you feel like making your own layout and design, please send us photos!
CEREMONIES OF CONSOLIDATION Community Records recently released a triple LP vinyl collection of Rhea Sylvia, Inconsolable, and The House Primordial. The set also includes a bonus 10" with the demo, acoustic versions of the Rhea Sylvia tracks.
BLESSINGS OF THE HIGHEST ORDER & A PRIMER OF HOLY WORDS Sacred Bones has started collecting all of our cover songs onto vinyl. Blessings of the Highest Order is a double LP collection of all the Nirvana covers we've done featuring artwork by our favorite New Orleans deviant Trashboy. A Primer of Holy Words collects the bulk of our non-Nirvana covers on a single LP, and features artwork by our dear friend Rachel Speck (Tropical Goth Prints). Most likely, we'll do A Second Primer of Holy Words at some point.
NORCO SOUNDTRACK Sacred Bones released about an LP's worth of new Thou material on the NORCO original soundtrack which is mainly a best of collection of Gewgawly I's score for the game. Our songs on the split will be featured in a forthcoming standalone game SILENUS. A alpha demo version of game will be available to the public on Monday, May 20, 2024 via Steam. |
