Scout Island Symbiotic (Lillian Lovich) is a field study of place explored through natural ink drawings, botanically inspired silkscreens, shadow boxes, and mandala photographs. The work investigates layers of interdependence — ecological, material, and personal — with the inhabitants and habitat of Scout Island, a small urban forest in New Orleans City Park.
